About the Role

Republic Wireless is seeking a VP of Acquisition to join its marketing team. This position is responsible for driving long-term, profitable sales growth across all online and brick & mortar sales channels.

This position is responsible for optimizing Republic’s online initiatives in terms of revenue, conversion rates, usability, and functionality while supporting an omni-channel sales orientation. The job will require establishing a comprehensive sales and marketing analytics strategy and managing a team to support both.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading Republic Wireless’ ecommerce customer acquisition strategy.
  • Manage the ecommerce P&L including detailed demand forecasting, ad spend budgeting, forecast to actuals reporting, and other ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Oversee paid and organic strategy, implementation & execution of all online marketing campaigns, including Search, Affiliate Marketing, Video, Retargeting, and Display Networks to ensure every investment is delivering the maximum ROI.
  • Define and grow key sales metrics and analysis capabilities to increase emphasis on data driven sales decisions.
  • Champion development of ecommerce capabilities and marketing programs which will drive aggressive sales goals and optimization of site-wide Key Performance indicators.
  • Lead business development activities to position Republic’s products in new channels.
  • Support sales activities of indirect online and brick & mortar resellers, including performance management, compensation, and overall cost structures.
  • Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices. Consult on cross-functional projects to ensure eCommerce principles are incorporated.
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability.
  • Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred but not required
  • 10+ years of experience in ecommerce, marketing, and sophisticated analytics.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
