Partsearch.com seeks a new Retail Director for their corporate headquarters in Manhattan. Part of the Internet Retailer Top 500, Partsearch Technologies (www.partsearch.com) is an e-commerce start-up that is maturing into a powerful industry leader. With more than 8 Million parts in their catalog, Partsearch manages parts websites for leading retailers like Best Buy, Radio Shack, Home Depot and 20 others. They also run an industry-leading website at Partstore.com.
Position Description:
The Retail Director will be responsible for developing the relationships that Partsearch Technologies has with the online business community. Their flagship E-commerce operation, Partstore.com, has been replicated into 12 private label sites for some of the largest Retailers in the world. The Retail Director’s key role will be to find new opportunities with those existing relationships through effective account management and to seek out and initiate similar arrangements in the outside market place. Focus will be on three markets: Retailers of electronics, appliances and DIY products, affiliates and businesses who need parts. In this highly entrepreneurial position, the Retail Director will bring home new opportunities and work with the Partsearch top flight marketing and operations team to develop them.
Responsibilities:
- Build inbound traffic from existing Retail relationships. Develop new opportunities within existing E-Commerce partnerships.
- Provide strategic direction to the sales “hunters” to develop new Retail relationships.
