We are working with one of the top online retailers in the Portland-metro area and an Internet Retailer Top 500 company in their search for a Director of Marketing based in Portland, OR (home of Voodoo Donuts and Tombstone Records).
Position Description:
The Director of Marketing will report directly to the COO & President and will play a vital role in growing our business. This will involve having overall responsibility of company marketing initiatives, including media buying, measurement & optimization, administration of affiliate programs, web merchandising, site optimization and other duties as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve internet sales and gross profit targets
- Project management of marketing initiatives
- Purchasing and analysis of online media and promotions
- Management of affiliate programs and strategic partnerships
- Site design and functionality
Primary Duties:
- Data analysis and reporting with web analytics
- Management of all media (CPC, CPM) campaigns to maintain and exceed ROI requirements
- Weekly “Hot Deals” email production
- Web merchandising and production (images and copy)
- Affiliate program, Amazon.com and eBay campaign management
- Work with our SEO specialist and outside programmer
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in online retail marketing
- Track record for achieving quantitative marketing objectives
- Command of web analytics to measure ROI, basic HTML and graphics abilities
- Passion for analyzing consumers, behavior and market dynamics
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Information Science, Business, English, Journalism, Advertising, or Communications from four-year college or university
