Executive Survey on Site Redesigns
I don’t normally share things like this, but Sam Decker, a long-time friend and ecommerce veteran, asked if folks here might want to participate in a survey about site redesigns. In return he promised to share results back out to everyone.

Why Research on Redesigns?
Most retailers take on website redesign with some regularity (you may be planning or in the midst of one right now). The process requires a tremendous investment and attention from valuable and finite resources. While there is plenty of anecdotal evidence that the redesign process across industries is frustrating, or even broken, there is a lack of current original research on the topic. And when it comes to digital retail redesigns, you won’t find any current data (which is one reason I’m publishing this).
The purpose of this research is to collect insights on common challenges, pitfalls and opportunities for improvement in the space. The survey is hosted and sponsored by Clearhead, the digital optimization company. Their experience and passion around this topic puts them in a strong position to analyze the results and provide useful insights for any company embarking on a redesign.
Thank you for taking a few moments to take the survey.
