We are working with 1-800-DENTIST in their search for a Sr. Online Marketing Manager based in Los Angeles, CA. 1-800-DENTIST is the nation’s #1 dentist referral service and the dental profession’s leading provider of advanced SaaS marketing solutions. The firm’s success is driven by an innovative team of marketing experts who have transformed and grown its B2C online channel by 10x in just three years.

Most companies would be satisfied with performance like that. But not 1-800-DENTIST. As a high-profile member of 1-800-DENTIST’s marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to wear many hats, learn many new skills and basically show the world that you’re an online marketing rock star. Your duties will include:

  • Managing online marketing campaigns from start to finish (e.g. negotiate with vendors, coordinate proposals, creative assets, and technical implementations)
  • Identifying new marketing tactics/partnerships and new sources of lead traffic
  • Conducting granular-level performance analysis of advertising expenses
  • Managing media buys through ad networks and portals
  • Managing relationships with affiliates and advertising partners
  • Oversee the search agency
  • Testing advertising creative and landing page designs
  • Managing development and execution of mobile marketing initiatives
  • Researching and benchmarking competitor efforts

Desired Skills & Experience

This position is ideal for a process-oriented problem-solver whose love of root-cause analysis is balanced by excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong strategic/tactical thinking and a “can-do” attitude. We are ready to invest in the right person. However, to qualify you must have:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in online marketing
  • Expert knowledge of online marketing metrics and best practices
  • You know what “pivot” means and can actually build and play
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Impeccable time management and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and changing priorities
  • Superior ability to use data and do data analysis to make business decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree
