HARRY’S COMMENTS: We’re looking for home based Enterprise Sales Leader for 1Q based in Atlanta, GA. 1Q is an instant mobile market research firm that offers marketers the ability to dialogue in real time with specific, tightly targeted consumers based on their demographics, psychographics, locations, and more.

Imagine needing RIGHT NOW an open-ended, focus group type response to ANY market research question — and then being able to access a targeted population of consumers based on where they are, where they have been, or where they will be. Now imagine that you could achieve a response rate of 60 percent of higher.

You’d be a hero to your boss, right?

Here’s just one example of what 1Q can do for marketers: Suppose you’re an Event Coordinator at Jugrnaut and on the spur of the moment you have an opportunity to host an in-store listening party with either Charles Bradley or Chance the Rapper.

Which artist is cooler in your specific area?

Google Consumer Surveys isn’t there yet — and may never be (because the demand for mobile market research isn’t massive enough to feed Google’s appetite for growth). The cost is $1 per response per question, of which $0.25-0.50 is paid instantly to the respondent. All of this reduces the the average 1Q response time to just minutes instead of days (as with traditional market research). Again, Google and Facebook don’t do this. Neither does Twitter.

New business won’t exist unless you go out and GET IT.

You will be the lead point of contact for all matters related to your accounts, and you’ll take the lead on all aspects of project kickoff, delivery, and conclusion. Naturally, we will look to you to thoroughly understand your client objectives to better serve them as well as improve up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.

Based on your success, you’ll be tasked with building an enterprise sales and support team around you to garner sales from the rest of the Fortune 1000. Voice of the Customer skills will be important as 1Q’s development team will be looking to you for direct and immediate feedback on how to improve 1Q’s offering.

You’ll be expected to win client business through the design and proposal of effective research and marketing projects while helping new customers learn how to use 1Q most effectively. You’ll need to know how to move proposals through the funnel, and we’ll expect you to contribute quarterly, monthly and weekly forecasts across accounts.

Your plans should map out each account’s opportunities and highlight specific strategies for growth, including client meetings, the identification of specific pain points, and key influencers in the decision to use 1Q. Your job will be to get in front of the right people at the right time with the right message.
