HARRY’S COMMENTS: We are working with a well-known brand in their search for a Digital Marketing Manager based in North Metro Chicago.
About the Role
As the client’s Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for Influencer, Affiliate, Social Media, Search, Digital and Promotional Marketing efforts for all of the client’s brands. That means you’ll oversee its marketing agencies, provide direction to the creative team, and plan, execute and monitor all email campaigns.
In this role, you’ll have a chance to make a very solid contribution to a healthy, growing company. Like many branded manufacturers, the client is doubling down on their digital commerce business. This is a player-coach type where you will be expected to understand overarching goals, articulate and execute tactical plans to achieve those, and monitor/manage key business metrics.
Meaning, you’ll need to be a hands-on “do-er” while having a big-picture orientation towards the business. We’re looking for a rising star who can operationalize that awareness into integrated campaigns that MAKE MONEY while building the client’s portfolio of brands. You must have a strong, real-world knowledge of digital marketing best practices for both DTC and wholesale sales channels.
You will be the “go-to gal/guy” regarding the implementation and results of the client’s performance marketing initiatives — so plan on getting a TON of face time with the firm’s new VP of Ecommerce (who’s awesome, btw).
