It’s worth noting that in 2021, we placed a President with this client, and you’ll be reporting directly to him. He’s a truly awesome executive with a very strong DTC background, and he’s serious about building a team that collaborates, communicates, and works TOGETHER to solve problems. Meaning, no giant egos, and nobody who pretends to know all the answers.

“We will work together to drive this business.”

To be sure, this is going to be a BIG job. We need someone who can drive the firm’s D2C business to the next level while also being extremely hands on and in the weeds. Strategy + tactics: You’ll need a playbook for both.

As you lead Privé Revaux’s D2C ecom business, you will have ownership of the P&L. Meaning, Job One will be MAKING MONEY online in a resource-friendly, brand-accretive way. You’ll building / leading a small team and managing the brand’s ecom agency relationships while serving as a bridge between Ecommerce, Creative, and Marketing.

We’re looking for a scrappy, in-the-weeds leader who likes to BUILD things.

Ideally, we need a proven candidate who’s not afraid of a lean environment, yet over time can scale a profitable omnichannel digital function as the company grows. To win in this role, you’ll need to be a hardworking realist who’s unafraid to take charge of the business in a way that’s hard on the issues and soft on the people.

Experience with Shopify is a HUGE plus.

Privé Revaux’s parent company (not to mention its wholesale business) has been extremely successful. You will have everything you need to build out the firm’s end-to-end DTC funnel. At first, you’ll find to job to be somewhat tactical in nature — although you won’t be in the weeds for long. As the business grows, so will your strategic impact.

Responsibilities:

Site operations: Lead and serve as hub of communication for all cross-functional partners related to ecommerce. Identify and lead initiatives to productively drive traffic and revenue. Track all ecommerce operational metrics and communicate results and opportunities to senior management and internal partners. Develop business cases and functional requirements for all key projects.

Online content management: Bring the brand strategy to life in the online environment across desktop and mobile platforms. Oversee the activation of product content to the website. Optimize site conversion in partnership with Creative and Merchandising partners. Create a consumer-friendly merchandising strategy on the site consistent with and delivering marketing and promotional strategies. Set and implement quality standards on user experience. Communicate site merchandising strategies to all cross-functional partners.

Drive productive traffic: Drive improvements in SEM, SEO, display advertising, affiliate programs, site search, product recommendations and personalization. Work with leadership to set and achieve customer investment strategies. Identify process improvements and new tools that will increase efficiency and productivity. Utilize web analytics and sales data to drive revenue and profit.

Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ecommerce and digital marketing best practices.
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
  • Experience with Shopify or comparable web platform. Ability to build and drive teams to deliver solutions on production / project issues, as well as internal customers and external vendors.
  • Proven ability to interact & collaborate across all areas with the organization.
  • Performance marketing oriented – develop a deep knowledge of the customer, understand their wants and needs, then innovate and build and measure successes and identify opportunities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Experience in eyewear product quality preferred. We will train the right candidate.
  • Bachelors degree required.
